McKay Scholarship for Students with Disabilities Program was created in 1999 and is commonly referred to as the McKay Scholarships Program. This disability scholarships program offers parents of children with disabilities the chance to make knowledgeable decisions about their child’s best academic environment. For a student to be eligible for a McKay Scholarships, students with disabilities must have an Individual Education Plan (IEP) or a 504 Accommodation Plan. The student must have been enrolled and reported for funding by a Florida school the prior school year.
