Center Academy began in 1968 with the vision of its founder, Dr. Mack Hicks, who saw the need for a specialized, full-day school for students who were falling through the cracks in traditional schools.
Mrs. Jody Miller has over 25 years of experience as a dedicated school leader in the private sector for students with learning differences. She has served on education boards, strategic school improvement teams, and trained teachers and principals across the country. She is also a lead evaluator with Cognia Accreditation and is committed to education excellence. She holds a BA from Loyola University, Chicago, and an MS in Education from Nova Southeastern University.
