Center Academy began in 1968 with the vision of its founder, Dr. Mack Hicks, who saw the need for a specialized, full-day school for students who were falling through the cracks in traditional schools.
Mr. Ruiz Shivrattan comes to Center Academy with a variety of experiences in both the public and private sector including City Government, E-Commerce, and Education. For the last fifteen years, he has worked in public and private schools serving as an instructor and an administrator. He holds a Bachelor Degree in Political Science and a Masters Degree in Educational Leadership from Stetson University. Mr. Shivrattan is also certified by the Florida Department of Education for Educational Leadership K-12.
