Student Spotlight – Trent Langbehn
Nineteen-year-old Trent Langbehn is a 12th grader at the Riverview campus, and a Florida native. His favorite subject is math. He claims that he’s really liked numbers since he was little. He even has a favorite calculator… the TI-84 Plus CE Python. His favorite teacher is Mrs. Phifer because “She is really nice and has military experience.”
One of the things Trent likes most about Center Academy is that he was able to find friends from the very beginning, like Ethan and Zach. Center Academy also gave him the opportunity to participate in yearbook and track. When he’s not in school, Trent enjoys video games, walking, and biking with his parents. He has a brother named Cole, a dog named Riley and Sprinkles the cat.
If he had the chance, Trent would love to meet and talk with Brigadier General Charles Yeager, a US Air Force officer, flying ace, and record-setting test pilot.
Trent made it to State in Special Olympics three years in a row and was Student of the Month in his senior year. He has a particular interest in the Muscovy duck, which is native to the Americas, from the Rio Grande Valley of Texas and Mexico.
Thank you, Trent, for sharing a little about yourself, and congratulations on being featured in this month’s Student Spotlight!
