Personal Special Education Programs Developed With Decades of Research and Development Experience

For over 50 years, schools for kids with special needs have been pioneers in the area of working with children with learning disabilities. In 1988, the National Institute of Mental Health (NIMH) awarded a grant to Center Academy for research and development of individualized remedial programs for children with learning disabilities. While developing these programs under the NIMH grant, over 200 students with varying degrees of learning disabilities received free evaluations and remediation from our schools. Any student who attends our special education schools in Florida benefits from the extensive research and development that went into creating these personalized programs in the past. Each student who attends our schools will receive an individual assessment that will provide the student and staff with the information needed for setting and attaining their own personalized educational goals.
