Center Academy began in 1968 with the vision of its founder, Dr. Mack Hicks, who saw the need for a specialized, full-day school for students who were falling through the cracks in traditional schools.
Mr. Chris Juhl has close to 40 years in the education field. He has taught every subject K-8 and every grade from kindergarten through college. He has 28 years in school administration as a principal, Head of School, and Superintendent of Schools for various private school systems across the United States. Mr. Juhl has his BA from Columbia Union College in English Education and his MA from East Tennessee State University. He joins the Center Academy team as the VP of Operations.
