Center Academy began in 1968 with the vision of its founder, Dr. Mack Hicks, who saw the need for a specialized, full-day school for students who were falling through the cracks in traditional schools.
Dr. Larson has been with Center Academy since 1986 as Director, Administrative Director, and President. Previously he was Principal of private schools in Pennsylvania and Florida and professor of special education at Clearwater Christian College, Clearwater, Florida.
