Center Academy began in 1968 with the vision of its founder, Dr. Mack Hicks, who saw the need for a specialized, full-day school for students who were falling through the cracks in traditional schools.
Ms. Hoppe comes to Center Academy with more than 15 years of experience in the public school system teaching children of various abilities. She has a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from University of Central Florida and is a certified teacher (K-6) with certification in ESOL (K-12) and an endorsement Gifted education. She spent a few years as the administrative assistant at the Waterford Lakes location before joining the management team.
